I am passionate about supporting writers and publishers of scholarly writing, helping prepare authors to inspire others with their research, knowledge, and ideas. I'm also passionate about editing nonfiction and fiction that helps us understand our society—and the world—and effect positive change, and about helping fiction authors craft more compelling stories.

If you’re looking for a seasoned and highly recommended academic editor—specializing in books and articles in the social sciences—I might be just the person you’re looking for.

I'm also a highly recommended and experienced editor of fiction and creative nonfiction, such as memoirs.

I’ve been coaching and editing professionally since 2005, and I’ve been an independent editor since 2015. If you're an academic writer, I can polish your work for a scholarly journal or book publisher, ensuring that your ideas—and your voice—will shine.

If you are a managing editor for a university press or trade publisher, I will provide excellent editing and proofreading, and I am rigorous about meeting deadlines.

If you're an independent fiction or nonfiction author, I can help you create and polish books readers will love, strengthen your writing skills, and navigate the road to publishing and marketing your work.
